The Garden
The Evidence building is an office building composed of several landscaped levels. In the lower patio, the garden is organized in the form of two distinct spaces:
- The sloping garden offers a fresh, colorful, flowery atmosphere conducive to the establishment of pollinators, with a herbaceous stratum from 30 to 70 cm high.
The composite wood terrace, punctuated by large planting boxes of varying heights, planted with small shrubs in clumps. It is a space to enjoy the view on the garden, while offering a space able to accommodate some low tables.
The Terraces
The S+2 terrace serves as a link between the different staircases connecting the floors and the accesses to the building. In addition to linking the different spaces, our intention here is to offer a real garden, a place to take a break where you feel good, where you can meet. With its atypical circulation, composed of Japanese steps in large Comblanchien limestone slabs, it undulates between 3 large mounds that emerge from + 60 to +150 cm from the general base of the terrace in order to reduce distant views and to affirm more intimate spaces. The vegetation, again, composed of herbaceous plants with flowers colonizes the joints of the Japanese steps to blur the boundary between plant and mineral. The materials and textures are mixed in a surprising global harmony. Like a virgin forest, the vegetation here is exuberant, lush and exotic. We are under a green canopy composed of plants with very large leaves that reveal the sky and invite the visitor to look up.
The S+1 terrace is a terrace that is crossed by a wooden walkway bordering the planters. This allows a distance from the offices and a full view of the patios on the lower levels.
The S+6 terrace is a full-length terrace that occasionally welcomes the public. Its sunny exposure is conducive to the establishment of a drier vegetation in the image of an urban scrubland. The plantings are made in custom-made vats in lacquered sheet metal. Pomegranate and arbutus trees give rhythm to the facade and the terrace.
