Landscaping

Creation of a landscaped sports park as part of the renovation of the Vallée-Béreult / Graville-la-Vallée district

The sports park will consist of an urban sports and leisure park of 14,000 m² and a CFA level approved football stadium consisting of three fields topped by a 300-seat stand, as well as a running.

The transversal park will strengthen the east-west axis of the project by its linearity, offering residents a safe and peaceful crossing. Particular attention will be paid to shaded areas, currently limited in Jean Dubuffet Park. This space will host a sports course dedicated both to jogging and to strolling, in a school setting or free. Finally, the nursery school forecourt in the northeast will be requalified with areas for protection against bad weather and the sun.

The project will also host many sports and fun activities, such as a skatepark open to all types of activities, a secure climbing wall close to the ground as well as a streetball court (3 against 3 basketball). Workout-type sports equipment (accessible to all) will be set up throughout the park and picnic areas will be available to both high school students during the week and families at weekends. Finally, the park will have a graffiti-type expression wall and an amphitheater for the organization of open-stage cultural events. All the outdoor facilities will be fluidly accessible to people with reduced mobility without the need for elevators.
