At the forefront of the tools developed over the years around the “digital city”, Land’Act takes up the challenge of the BIM and in 2016 invents the LIM : Landscape Information Modeling !

First field of landscape application of BIM, the LIM allows the user to access metadata of trees (root systems, water requirements, growth calendar, evolution over time …), from the conception to the implementation. Designed to fill a gap in BIM tools for outdoor spaces, the LIM is already actively used in several Land’Act projects such as: l’écoquartier de l’Arsenal in Rueil-Malmaison, the Parallèle office building in Courbevoie, the CESI (university complex) of Rouen and many other projects …

From the 2D plan to the parametric 3D

Taking advantage of collaborative 3D modeling to better analyze, simulate, calculate and design.

LIM, a reinvented expertise

Example of LIM expertise developed by Land’Act in the context of a reforestation study of the Plain of Pierrelaye (95). Client : SMAPP, Syndicat Mixte pour l’Aménagement de la Plaine de Pierrelaye.

An innovative simulation tool

The LIM is a tool with unmatched simulation power that not only interconnects 3D images but also builds representations based on technical and scientific data, allowing to measure much more precisely and realistically the development of physical and functional characteristics of living entities in each project.
